History of the technology

This genre of Cybernetic Biofeedback therapy was originally developed by a team of over 40 Russian scientists and doctors based in Taganrog. The devices were created for cosmonauts in space for long periods. The scientist realized years ago that since urine is recycled for drinking water, should a cosmonaut become ill, the metabolites of a drug would be re-circulated in everyone's drinking water. Further due to the introduction of toxins into the water recycling system, the treatment of one person might well treat the whole crew. Basically, the Russian Cybernetic Biofeedback therapy was developed as an alternative means for promoting the body's own healing process.

The devices have been widely used in Russian hospitals since the early 1980's. However, it remained a military secret until Perestroika. At that time, the inventors were issued a patent for the device, and they began to make the technology available to the West.

How the technology works:

The device sends out a series of signals through the skin and measures the response. Each signal is only sent out when a change in response to the previous signal is recorded in the electrical properties of the skin. Visible responses include reddening of the skin, numbness, stickiness (the device will have the feeling of being magnetically dragged), a change in the numerical readout and an increase in the electronic clattering of the device.

The body can get accustomed to a stable pathological state, which may have been caused by injury, disease or toxicity. The C-fibers, which comprise 85% of all nerves in the body, react most readily to the electro-stimulation and are responsible for the production of neuro-peptides and other regulatory peptides.

Introduction of Tennant Biomodulator® PLUS

In early 2005 the introduction of the long awaited answer to a replacement for the original Russian SCENAR device was created by Jerry Tennant MD . The Tennant Biomodulator® PLUS is a cost effective device with advanced circuitry, frequency set and digital circuit board.

The Tennant Biomodulator® PLUS is truly the next generation of SCENAR technology. After years of working with the devices, Dr Jerry Tennant was able to work with the engineers to create a whole new set of therapy frequencies unlike any available before. These new treatment modes allow the practitioner or user to operate the device more efficiently. The new modes will assist the operator in completing therapy in much less time with more effectiveness.
